Description

The Laeiszhalle was donated by the shipping couple Carl and Sophie Laeisz and executed by the architects M. Haller and W.E. Meerwein 1904 - 1908 in the style of the Neo-Baroque. According to the turn of the century, clinker masonry with rich sandstone ornaments was chosen as the external design elements. In addition, richly decorated wrought-iron railings with botanical motifs and slate-covered mansard roofs, embellished with driven copper sheet sculptures, decorate the facade. As the largest and most modern concert hall in Germany at the time, the Musikhalle is now the most important building for classical music performances in Hamburg, alongside the Elbphilarmonie. The client plans to carry out structural measures in the Laeiszhalle to ensure the smooth, safe operation of the building for the future. All work outside the annual season break can only be carried out in close coordination with the construction management or the management of the Laeiszhalle / client, as rehearsals or events can take place all day. Defining binding time windows is possible with a lead time of up to 2 weeks, so that the contractor can plan firmly with these time windows.// The specifications include: - Flooring work // Essential work: - Demolition and relaying Linoleum - Demolition and relaying Carpet - Lacquering of skirting boards Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
