Description

The city of Sontra intends to transform the former rainbow school on the southeastern edge of the old town into a four-pronged day care center. The aim of the measure is to create a modern, sustainable and energy-sustainable building that covers the increased need for care for children under and over the age of three. In future, four group rooms (two U3, two Ü3) will be accommodated in the two-storey south wing. The attic is to be used as a multifunctional hall for cultural and community-related events with up to 200 people. The project is part of the Urban Development Programme "Living Centres". The existing building will be extensively renovated and partially rebuilt in the course of the conversion. The west wing is dismantled at the junction to create a clear functional and fire protection separation.
