Description

The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail link in the Rhine-Main area to improve local public passenger transport in the metropolitan area of Frankfurt am Main. It primarily serves the better connection of the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Main as well as the surrounding districts, cities and municipalities with each other and with each other and the better connection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA Nord PFA Mitte and the PFA Süd I and Süd II. The present call for tenders is located in the planning approval section South 1. The steel bridges are manufactured on a pre-assembly site and, after completion, are inserted into two total closures of the Mörfelder Landstraße by means of SPMT's. The measures in question include the construction of the civil engineering structures as well as all construction-preparatory related work required for this (e.g. ordnance probing, pipeline relocation measures, production of working levels and ramps, installations, etc.).
