Description

The medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear have never been fully repaired since the JVA Pöschwies was opened in 1995. A last maintenance was carried out in 2020. The MS and NS switching and protective devices have reached the end of their service life. In addition, spare parts are no longer available. The systems no longer comply with the rules of technology, which means that operational safety as well as personal and property protection can no longer be guaranteed. In the course of the project planning, the complete replacement and the extension of all switchgear combinations were therefore tested. The systems should once again comply with current regulations and safety standards and be able to meet future requirements. In the course of the implementation, all corresponding data points and functions of the energy control system are to be checked. For emergency power operation, the load capacities of the individual distributions must be determined in order to ensure optimum load discharge in an emergency. For the necessary switching actions and emergency scenarios, the organizational measures and operating instructions are created and updated according to requirements. The work is carried out during operation. Measures are taken which reduce any interruptions in supply to an acceptable level during the conversion work.
