Description

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) is looking for a party that can advise potential returnees on the use of the Relief Act. The service shall consist of:
— the provision of objective information on entitlement to the benefit under the Remigration Act to individuals and groups;
— guiding and assisting this target group in correctly completing SVB forms for the purpose of applying for the remigration benefit;
— providing objective information on the return option of the law on migration and accompanying remigrants in exercising the return option;
— where necessary and possible in the national language of the various target groups;
— knowledge of related regulations is desirable in connection with the overlapping of legislation.
The current partner for this service is the Dutch Migration Institute. The contract with this Institute will expire on 31.12.2015. A market consultation was held at the end of October/early November 2014 with the aim of determining whether and which parties are available to provide this service. 10 parties downloaded the market consultation, mainly consultancy and research firms. Finally, a response to this market consultation was received before the closure date of 1. This reaction was from the current supplier NMI.
On the basis of this outcome, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment intends to award the contract to NMI without a tendering procedure. If no (foreign) economic operator has come forward before 15.1.2015 who seeks to prove the existence of a contract subject to a tendering procedure by way of interim relief, SZW will award the contract to the NMI.
