The intended result of Project Over-Bruggen is to carry out the most necessary variable maintenance for up to 20 bridges, over a period of 10 years, to ensure safety and availability, so that these bridges can remain in use until their replacement or renovation task begins. The contractor of the framework agreement to be concluded is instructed by means of further agreements to carry out the work necessary to safely bridge these bridges until the start of the Renewal Declaration and to advise on this (input of implementation knowledge). In any case, the initial assignment relates to the execution of the aforementioned works with regard to the Algera Bridge and the Merwede Bridge Gorinchem (A27); the remaining bridges are possible follow-up assignments under the framework agreement.
