Description

The Jan Yperman Hospital is a modern, high-tech hospital with 532 beds, where 1,400 employees and 162 doctors give the best of themselves every day for their patients. Thanks to the scale of the hospital, specialised care can be offered at the highest level, while at the same time maintaining a warm and patient-oriented approach. The Jan Yperman hospital wishes to purchase a mobile operating microscope for the ophthalmology service including maintenance contract, training, consumables and associated software for a period of ten years. The mobile operating microscope shall comply with the following functional and technical characteristics: - Integrated and mobile compact system consisting of an operating microscope with a built-in/integrated Optical Coherence Tomography scanner (iOCT), a biometric device and associated software. - Integrated digital marker system based on reference photographs, with the aim of increasing precision when aligning and positioning intraocular lenses. The use of a compatible biometric device is necessary to be able to use this functionality - Can be used for cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and vitreoretinal surgery - Support of 2D applications - visualization of the posterior segment using a fully integrated BIOM system that ensures compatibility with the iOCT system, reducing the time between successive procedures - Both possibility of using reusable and single-use lenses for visualization of the entire retina while performing vitrectomies as well as possibility of using single-use lenses for high resolution during macular surgery compared to reusable lenses, resulting in high image quality and a more efficient workflow for both doctor and patient. The lenses must be able to be mounted on the microscope. - RGB-Led light source to enable the widest possible individually adjustable spectrum (3000K-6000K). - The microscope has a visor with electronic stepless zoom that may or may not be linked to the surgeon's zoom. The combination of these functionalities allows the operative workflow to be significantly optimised and the quality, precision and safety of ophthalmological interventions to be further increased. The purchase is necessary to provide the ophthalmology service with a modern, efficient and ergonomic solution, with a view to ensuring high-quality patient care and optimising the operative activities. For the above reasons and in the absence of equivalent solutions from other manufacturers/providers, we would like to purchase the Artevo 750 with iOCT and biometric device, and associated software from the company Carl Zeiss N.V.-S.A. and have it installed in our hospital. A waiting period of at least 10 days will be respected before closing the assignment. If we do not receive a written notification within this waiting period (by registered mail and/or by e-mail to kopen@yperman.net), we will continue the procedure.
