Geological drilling services for the implementation of the integrated monitoring solution for natural and anthropogenic phenomena – Slănic city, Prahova county
This procurement concerns the provision of specialised geological and hydrogeological drilling services necessary for the implementation of the underground infrastructure for integrated monitoring of natural and anthropogenic phenomena triggering societal risks, in the area of Slănic City, Prahova County, within the research project PN4-P6-58 – ‘Solution for integrated monitoring of natural and anthropogenic phenomena triggering societal risks, for the safety of the population in the affected area – Slănic City, Prahova County’, funded by the National Plan for Research and Development and Innovation 2022–2027 (PNCDI IV). The contract aims to execute six (6) drillings (five geohydrogenological drillings and one geotechnic equipped with inclinometric tubing), geological and hydrogeological research and monitoring, located in the perimeter of Slănic, with estimated depths between 40 m and 250 m depending on the type of drilling (total range approximately 470–810 m carrotated). The works will be carried out by continuous mechanical core, followed by equipment, development, hydrodynamic testing and ecological rehabilitation, in accordance with the technical requirements set out in the Specifications and the Technical Data Sheet – Geological Drilling Services (rev. 02). Activities include: the preparation of sites, the execution of drilling by rotating methods with direct circulation, the collection and preservation of cores, the installation of equipment columns and filters, the performance of hydrodynamic tests and the delivery of complete technical-geological documentation. The final result is the realization of the six fully equipped and tested investigation and monitoring boreholes, as well as the provision of the technical-geological reports, the hydrogeological data and the samples taken, which will be used for the geological and hydrogeological modelling of the study area. Through the execution of these services, the Geological Institute of Romania (IGR) aims to develop a temporary research infrastructure aimed at installing underground monitoring sensors and obtaining the necessary data to calibrate the integrated observation and warning system on natural and anthropogenic risks. Number of days until which clarifications can be requested before the closing date for submission of tenders - 10 days. The contracting authority will respond in a clear and complete manner to all requests for clarification at least 5 days before the deadline set for the submission of tenders.
