Description

The contract concerns the execution of renovation works relating to 31 of the boarding bridges of Pier A at Brussels Airport. Most (31 out of 33) of Pier A's boarding bridges are over 20 years old. Certain important components of the boarding bridges are (almost) at the end of their service life and the control and control components run on outdated technology. To extend the lifespan and compliant use of these boarding bridges by at least 10 years, a thorough renovation of each of the 31 boarding bridges is required. The activities to be carried out are the following (non-exhaustive): Replacing the outdated PLC with new technology Replacing technical non-conformities (wheels, cab, sensors, ...) Replacing structural non-conformities (damage, rust, ...) ...
