In addition, UTSA needs an FSTD approved for MCC-training – either a turboprop model or a light/medium jet – preferably with FMS.
The FSTD(s) should be of such type(s) and in such condition that they are certified according to the regulations laid down in JAR FSTD A rules – FNPT 2, and according to JAR FSTD A – FNPT 2 MCC for the FSTD to be used for MCC.
The tender may comprise the offer for more than one FSTD as long as the needs stated in the paragraphs above are covered, or it may comprise one reconfigurable FSTD.
The estimated value of the contract is 5 000 000 NOK, exclusive VAT. This amount should include the necessary options to operate the systems according to given models and specifications.
