Description

The City of Helsinki's Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Department (Subscriber) requests information about the available gym equipment solutions for the Client's customers. In the City of Helsinki's social, health and rescue services sector, it is necessary to purchase gym equipment for various locations, such as senior centres, service houses, service centres and health and well-being centres. Purchases are made in connection with both new projects and renovations, and the needs may vary from a few gym equipment to entire gyms. Customers using the gyms are usually working-age or elderly persons in rehabilitation. The client requests information primarily on pneumatic gym solutions that are suitable for several different user groups and that are technically easy to use. Information may also be provided on non-pneumatic gym equipment. The client is planning to launch the competitive tendering of the framework contract during 2025, and the information will be used in the preparation of the competitive tendering and in the mapping of the market. This request for information does not call for tenders. Replying to or not replying to a request for information shall not prevent participation in any future tendering procedure and shall not bind suppliers to participate in any tendering procedure. The request for information shall not oblige the contracting entity to carry out the actual tendering procedure. The decision on the organisation of a possible tender and the procurement as a whole will be made after the preparatory study and the mapping phase. The information collected through the information request will remain completely confidential and will only be used for the planning of the procurement. The answers provided will only be available to the Subscriber and will not be given to third parties. Information is requested on at least the following (compressed air gym equipment): - What kind of selection do suppliers have of compressed air gym equipment suitable for different groups of rehabilitees? The customer wishes to receive as accurate information as possible, including technical information. - Do the gym equipment in the supplier's range meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Regulation (MDR)? The customer wishes a description of which devices meet the MDR requirements. - What kind of compressed air options can the supplier implement for gyms? - What kind of design service can a supplier offer to design gyms? - What kind of after-sales service can the supplier provide for the maintenance of the gym equipment and whether and under what conditions (e.g. maintenance training, etc.) can any other party maintain the equipment solutions provided by the supplier? - Are the supplier's equipment and compressor solutions compatible with other suppliers' equipment and compressed air compressors? In addition, suppliers may also provide information on the following (more traditional, manually adjustable gym equipment): - What kind of selection do suppliers have of more traditional, weight-free/manually adjustable gym equipment suitable for different groups of rehabilitees? The customer wishes to receive as accurate information as possible, including technical information. - Do the gym equipment in the supplier's range meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Regulation (MDR)? The customer wishes a description of which devices meet the MDR requirements. - What kind of design service can a supplier offer to design gyms? - What kind of after-sales service can the supplier provide for the maintenance of the gym equipment and whether and under what conditions (e.g. maintenance training, etc.) can any other party maintain the equipment solutions provided by the supplier? In addition, the subscriber wishes to receive the following information with regard to price and reference data: - This information request does not ask for offers, but the supplier may provide price information/price range information on its products and services (such as design and maintenance services) and sample prices for gym sets, equipment models or, for example, reference information on implemented gym solutions for similar needs. Any other relevant information can be provided. The supplier may provide information on either pneumatic equipment or manually adjustable equipment, or both. Answers must be given in Finnish. Possible technical attachments may be in Finnish or English. There are no other formal requirements for responses. PDF documents and O365-compliant files (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) should be preferred as file formats. We ask for answers by e-mail to sotepe.hankinnat@hel.fi, no later than 12.8.2025 at 12:00.
