Description

The DFS currently operates offices with firewall/IPS systems with its own management systems and its own central 24 x 7 monitoring sites in Germany (Langen, Frankfurt, Munich, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Bremen and Berlin).
The infrastructure consists of approximately 32 IP-Series checkpoint (30 IP395 series,2 IP560 series firewalls) and 2 Connectra 270 SSL gateways, including management servers. In addition, a total of 47 hardware applications from the manufacturer Barracuda Networks (Phion E-Model, Phion MR, Phion-L model, Barracuda F100) and in some cases additional licences are used for AV and VPN clients.
11 IPS applications of type GX4004-C, including management licence, are used by the manufacturer IBM.
These components of the manufacturer Checkpoint, Barracuda Networks and IBM (formerly ISS) require a maintenance and maintenance contract.
The services shall include in particular:
— Software maintenance extension at the above-mentioned manufacturers,
— On-site hardware replacement, including commissioning of replacement components by equivalent replacement hardware held by the contractor (differentiated according to location; Missions including on weekends and public holidays) from 08.00 to 18.00,
— German-language hotline support, including problem analysis and incident assumption,
— Information on patches and troubleshooting, and automatic updates for IPS, AV, URL licences,
— Provision of a web account of the respective manufacturers with the possibility of accessing software, documentation and knowledge base,
— Carry out problem/disruption resolution, support to DFS Service Level 1 in difficult situations,
— a response time of 1 hour and a starting time for on-site activities of 4 hours,
— assist in the operation of the systems with regard to configuration and troubleshooting issues,
— pro-active support (in the form of regular planning discussions or direct contact with technical interlocutors) in the selection of new products and their use,
— the documentation of the deliverables and continuous reporting,
— Assistance in attacks and attempted attacks.
Consultancy service for the creation of security concepts, migrations, SW updates, product training, etc.
— new purchases of hardware and software from the manufacturers Checkpoint, Barracuda Networks and IBM (IPS systems) will be necessary.
