FI-Turku: security services
The object of the contract is the renewal of the access control system of the City of Turku, including equipment and software. Operationally, the procurement includes access control and time monitoring system services with the necessary interfaces and controls. The contracting entity does not acquire ownership of the equipment and software, but will be awarded as a service contract to a single supplier with overall responsibility.
Approximately 190 buildings are covered by the access control system, mainly in the area of the City of Turku and entities managed by Turku. It is estimated that around 25000 people are subject to access control. In the buildings, such as:
—hospitals, health centres,
— kindergartens, schools, educational establishments,
—old people’s homes,
— museums, libraries,
—technical facilities,
—fire stations,
— offices.
