Description

The Municipality of Almere will tender for the technical management and optimization of its Microsoft Azure environment including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and the Microsoft365 environment. The Municipality is looking for a strategic partner who not only takes care of day-to-day management, but also actively thinks about cost optimisation, security and automation. The vendor must be able to take over the current Cloud environment as-is in management and then implement phased improvements, with a strong focus on Azure-native solutions, automation and scalability. This invitation to tender focuses on the creation of a public contract. The term of the agreement is 4 years with 2 times an option for an extension of 2 years. The maximum duration of the contract is therefore 8 years. The municipality consciously opts for long-term cooperation, because continuity and mutual trust are important for achieving sustainable results. A longer term gives both parties the opportunity to invest in quality, innovation and cooperation without the uncertainty of a short contract horizon.
