Netherlands-Amsterdam: Repair and maintenance services of ships
Introduction
A programme has been launched by the municipality of Amsterdam to reduce emissions from vessels within the urban boundaries by means of the Noota Schoner sailing in Amsterdam 2.1.
The objective of Stichting Waternet (hereinafter referred to as Waternet), as the fleet owner and contractor of the municipality of Amsterdam, is to ‘discard’ its fleet and adapt it to this new scheme. This should be achieved by January 2020. Waternet will carry out this in stages according to the latest state of the art.
