Description

East Staffordshire Borough Council is nviting tenders from organisations wishing to enter into a contract with the Authority for the provision of Market Services Management. The proposed Contract is for an initial period of five (5) years with the option to extend for up to a further five (5) years. Burton Market is in the centre of Burton upon Trent and includes both an indoor Market Hall and an outdoor market adjacent to the Market Hall. Following a 1 500 000 GBP Authority-funded redevelopment, the indoor Market Hall re-opened its doors to the public on 21.6.2014. The Market Hall is a beautiful Victorian building that has been renovated with sympathy to preserve its historic character.
