De infrastructuurwerken van De Vlaamse Waterweg nv dienen vaak te worden voorafgegaan door een archeologisch vooronderzoek om te voldoen aan de regelgeving Omgeving en regelgeving Onroerend Erfgoed. Middels deze raamovereenkomst is het de intentie van De Vlaamse Waterweg nv om telkens op korte termijn een archeologische dienstverlener te betrekken bij haar projecten.
