The NSI's mission is to produce and disseminate relevant, reliable and internationally comparable official statistical information on companies, economies and the environment, in order to support the decision-making process of public authorities, businesses and citizens. The development and implementation of an integrated system for statistical activity at national level brings major benefits both for the governmental environment and for the business environment, but also for all those interested in the socio-economic reality in Romania. Thus, the implementation of the project will support the activity of data collection, data processing and dissemination of acquired information that will be carried out in an integrated manner, with a high degree of accuracy through process automation, where this will be possible, excluding as much as possible human intervention throughout the flow and eliminating possible errors that can lead to data distortion, leading to reduced information processing times. Through the implementation of this project, 4 electronic public services will be developed, as follows: a) Provision of digital formats for the reporting of statistical data and metadata; b) Dissemination of statistical data;c) Facilitating the access and correct use of statistical data, adapted to the specific needs of users, by developing modern and varied tools that allow the development of personalized statistical research; d) Development of publications and summaries on specific areas to enable evidence-based decision-making. These public services are listed in the National Catalogue of Public Services managed by ADR. Several components and sub-modules divided into the following categories will be included in the system: • Presentation level – portal for access to exposed administrative services; • Application level – the components required to operate the system; • Data level – data storage components managed within the platform and data auditing the activities carried out within the system; • Support level – administration, monitoring, backup and replication components; • Security – data security components at system and database level. The main functional, security and support components of the platform are: • The portal component through which the necessary administrative processes are exposed; • The document management component that will manage the inter-institutional collaboration; • The BPM component that will manage the realization of data flows in internal and inter-institutional processes; • Data management and analysis component; • Analysis and reporting component; • Interoperability component that will allow the exchange of information between different existing and future systems at the level of public institutions; • The user identity management component that will ensure at least the following processes: o Connection with the ROeID eID platform; o Creating and managing digital identities and platform roles for identities not covered by ROeID; o Auditing and reporting the information corresponding to the processes executed within the solution; • The privileged access security component to protect, manage and monitor privileged access to critical system resources; • Applications monitoring component that will allow the immediate detection and remediation, as much as possible automatically, of operating problems that affect the proper use of the information system and the performance of work tasks; • The SIEM component that provides the possibility of collecting and monitoring logs within the system.
