Description

The subject of the procurement is the acquisition of the first-time furnishing of the new multi-purpose building Wintter, the City of Uusikaupunki (hereinafter referred to as the “Procurement Unit”). The purchase includes actual furnishing and delivery. A separate service provider of a multi-purpose building life cycle project is responsible for the furniture design. The procurement is divided into subdivisions as follows: 1) lobby furniture, 2) Restaurant, 3) School furniture (primary and upper classes, upper secondary school and colleges), 4) kindergarten furniture, 5) Office furniture and 6) Outdoor furniture (terrace furniture). Offers within the sub-area are allowed. The purchase has also been divided into furniture groups within the sub-area and, in addition to furniture groups, into furniture not belonging to individual groups: The furniture in the different sub-areas is marked with the letter *R* on the furnishings and with the separate serial number of each furniture group. Individual furniture groups in different sub-areas are assessed and scored separately as a single entity. If the bidder offers a furniture group, the bidder shall offer each of the products contained in the furniture group. — Furniture not included in the furniture group in the different sub-areas includes furniture other than those marked with the letter *R*. Individual furniture not belonging to the different sub-areas will be assessed individually. For each category of furniture/furniture (non-group furniture) in each sub-area, one (1) supplier shall be selected with whom the Contracting Entity shall award the contract. The furniture to be tendered is presented in the furniture cards attached to the invitation to tender. The floor plans of the multi-purpose building are also attached to the invitation to tender. The floor plan also includes part of the product numbers that are not part of this tendering process. As an option, the contracting entity reserves the right to order products as an additional purchase, if necessary, 15 % above the total value of the procurement. The subject matter of the contract and the requirements for it are described in more detail in the attached tender documents. The criteria for comparison of tenders are described in more detail in the invitation to tender, together with the annexes. The furniture must be delivered in January-February 2025. With the exception of desks with a delivery time of the week starting November 4, 2024. Operations in the building will start at the beginning of week 9 in 2025. The contract is concluded when both parties have signed the contract. The terms and conditions are described in more detail in Annex 3 to the invitation to tender.
