Description

Intention notice - planned contract with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB Bergen Health Trust intends to enter into contract with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB for the delivery of contrast injector with the accompanying equipment dependent consumables for the Heart Department at Haukeland University Hospital. The procurement includes: Procurement of 4 contrast injectors that are currently leased The procurement of 1 new contrast injector Background In 2023, a leasing agreement was signed with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB, as it was no longer possible to get sufficient consumables for the existing injectors in operation. The tenderer could not secure further deliveries, which posed a significant risk to operations and patient safety. The leasing contract was signed after an intention notice. Justification for procurement without competition After an overall assessment, it is concluded that Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB is the only supplier who can offer both the equipment and the necessary consumables in accordance with the hospital ́s requirements. Experiences with other actors have shown that it is not possible to ensure stable deliveries and this is considered an unacceptable risk for the treatment offer. The assessment is made in cooperation with professionals from the Heart Department and the Medical Technical Department at Haukeland University Hospital, with procurement support from Sykehusinnkjøp HF. The procurement is therefore carried out as a direct procurement in accordance with the public procurement regulations § 13-4 letter b point 2, competition is impossible for technical reasons, as it is considered that there are no reasonable alternatives. An intention notice is published in accordance with the provision in § 21-5. Any enquiries about the intention of signing the contract shall be sent to Mathias Høydal Nilsen by 24.06.2025, 23:59.
