Description

Die Hamburger HafenCity ist mit 157 ha eines der größten innerstädtischen Stadtentwicklungsprojekte Europas. Ziel dieses markanten und richtungsweisenden Stadtentwicklungsvorhabens ist es, die Hamburger Innenstadt wieder an das Wasser zu führen und in zentraler Lage an der Elbe auf ehemaligen Hafenflächen ein modernes, gemischt genutztes, innerstädtisches Stadtviertel zu etablieren. Die gesamte Entwicklung der HafenCity wird von der HafenCity Hamburg GmbH als städtischer Entwicklungsmanager verantwortet.
Gegenstand dieses Projekts ist die Planung und Errichtung eines Null-Emissionsbürogebäudes in der HafenCity, das die Aspekte einer anspruchsvollen nachhaltigen Architektur in ein städtebaulich neu zu ordnendes Umfeld integriert. Das Untergeschoss des Gebäudes wird nach Fertigstellung teilweise durch Anlagen zur Bereitstellung von Landstrom für Kreuzfahrtschiffe genutzt werden.
