Description

The target of the procurement is a meeting place for the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Foreign Ministers' Meeting to be held in 2025. Finland holds the Chairmanship of the OSCE in 2025 and is responsible for organising a regular annual ministerial meeting. Last December, the OSCE participating countries decided to hold a 2025 ministerial meeting in Vienna, Austria. On 24 April 2024, the Contracting Entity published a voluntary pre-information notice on direct procurement concerning the procurement of a meeting venue for the OSCE Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in 2025. The previous direct award notice concerned the acquisition of a meeting venue in Finland. However, the 2025 meeting has been postponed to Austria, and the previous direct procurement for the meeting venue in Finland has been cancelled. The meeting will be held in the format required by the OSCE, and preparations will be made for the arrival of approximately 68 delegates and 250 representatives of the press. The meeting venue is the Hofburg Conference Centre. This meeting venue has also hosted OSCE meetings in the past and is the only one in the Vienna region to meet all the necessary safety, location, traffic and space requirements.
