Die technische Überwachung von kommunaler Abwasserbehandlungsanlagen in Bayern soll an anerkannte private Sachverständige der Wasserwirtschaft mit dem Anerkennungsbereich Technische Gewässeraufsicht Abwasseranlagen (PSW) vergeben werden. Die technische Überwachung beinhaltet unter anderem die Probenahme vor Ort, die Begehung der Anlage, die Prüfung der Eigenüberwachung sowie die Kontrolle der Jahresberichte. An PSW soll die Überwachung der kommunalen Kläranlagen in den Amtsbezirken der Wasserwirtschaftsämter Aschaffenburg, Deggendorf, Donauwörth, Kronach, München, Nürnberg, Regensburg, Traunstein und Weilheim vergeben werden.
