D-Hamburg: load-bearing structure design services
As a first step towards the restructuring of the University of Hamburg, the ‘climate campus’ with the integrated cluster of excellence CLISAP on the Bundesstrasse/Beim Schlump area is to be rebuilt on an urban plot of approximately 38 000 m² of BGF and approximately 170 000 m³ of BRI and includes very complex uses such as laboratory surfaces, special laboratories, magazines, offices and aquaria. It is built in close proximity to a tower > 60 m dating from the 1960s. Consideration must be given to the valuable tree population and to a neighbouring listed building.
The basic services in accordance with Section 49 of the HOAI, service phases 2 and parts of service phase 3 for the preparation of a BQA are tendered out. The project is to be implemented through an ÖÖP procedure, and any further commissioning of the future ÖÖP partner beyond these performance phases will therefore be subject to the following criteria: Cost-effectiveness in design, execution and operation, principles of sustainable construction, minimisation of life-cycle costs and optimisation of the energy efficiency of the building.
