Description

The Ministry of Education and Research has decided that Norway will participate in TALIS — Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) and (TALIS Starting Strong Survey (TALIS 3S). Both studies are initiated by OECD and carried out next in 2024.
OECD is the secretariat for the studies and has engaged an international research consortium that will have academic responsibility for the development and implementation of the study. This consortium is hereinafter referred to as the international project management. The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training is Norway's representative in the highest governing body for the studies, and is responsible for, among other things, defining the general goals, prioritising which topics and questions that must be highlighted and to quality assure the draft report. The responsibility also involves procuring a ‘National Project Manager’, hereinafter called the NPM.
