F124 5. Use Release Guide and Weapons Deployment System (5. NR FüWES)
In order to ensure the operational maturity of the frigates of class 124 (F124) and the associated land installations until the end of their service life, an integration of various subsystems as well as obsolescence removals and troubleshooting should be carried out. For this purpose, the project implementation is divided into sub-projects and implemented in a procurement framework contract. The shell performance description describes the parts of the project process (management, training, logistics) and the subsystem integrations Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Block 2B and Atlas Data Link System (ADLiS) integration as well as deviations from the demands of the shell performance description. Subsystem integrations (KORA integration, obsolescence elimination, wide-range sensor and capability adaptation integration, Naval Strike Missile Integration, Regeneration Combat Direction System (CDS) computer units, Regeneration Bus Interface Unit navigation sensors, Standatization Agreement multidata link, troubleshooting CDS software) will be commissioned via individual calls at a later date. Share of RAM integration (fixed order): On the F124 is currently "only" the RAM block 1A functionally integrated. The Block 1A guided missiles have been reaching their end of life since this year until 2028 and are therefore no longer available for use. According to the decree, when integrating the newer versions of RAM, the integration of RAM Block 2 must be carried out together with the already available, further developed RAM Block 2B. Its functional integration into the F124's command and deployment system is (one) subject to the performance requirement set out in the 5th F124. Usage release should be ordered. Share of ADLiS integration (fixed order): 5. Usage release, share integration data processing system Multi-Link ADLiS in the CDS F124. As part of this assignment, the minimum integration of the Multi-Link ADLiS data processing system into the CDS F124 is to be commissioned.
