Description

In the Oranjewijk and the Doeskwartier-West in Leiderdorp, the sewerage system is 60 years old and needs to be replaced. This spatial intervention is a huge opportunity to integrate other infrastructural tasks and to make one integrated plan. In addition to the regular tasks – for replacing the sewer and re-paving the roads and pavements – the task is to improve the greenery in the district, in order to increase biodiversity. The following work will be carried out on sustainable district renewal: - Replaced mixed sewerage for separate system; - Breaking up pavements and street furniture; - Replace various divers; - felling trees; - Planting trees; - Planting new trees (including growth site facilities); - Landscaping; - Application of element hardening and bituminous hardening; - Realizing nature-friendly banks In addition, energy transition space reserved for the future construction of an alternative energy supply for gas. Current estimate 12.5 million excl. VAT. Amounts subject to change.
