Bulgaria-Smolyan: Construction work for water and sewage pipelines

For the Integrated Water Project site of the agglomeration of Smolyan, an investment project was drawn up in the ‘work project’ phase.
The investment project provides for the construction and reconstruction of a water and sewerage network and facilities in Smolyan locality, with the following scope:
Under the ‘Water supply’ component:
construction of a new plumbing network – 2 692 m,
refurbishment of an existing water supply network by open means – 5 431 m,
— construction of irrigation zones (pressure regulators) – 24
Under Component “Analysis”:
construction of a new sewerage network – 8 452 m,
reconstruction of an existing sewerage network by open means – 9 070 m,
reconstruction of sewer collectors by a non-excavated process – 374 m,
— construction of new storm overflows – 4;
— reconstruction of existing storm overflows – 2;
— river crossings – 4
The length of the water network (excluding IWS) subject to intervention is 8 123 lm and the sewerage network (without OCS) is 17 896 lm.
