Description

The city of Donauwörth intends to extend and expand the underpass at Donauwörth station with a southern exit on Industriestraße. Deutsche Bahn AG expanded the Donauwörther station barrier-free in 2024. In the course of this work, the existing station underpass was relocated and rebuilt to the last platform. In consultation with DB, the city of Donauwörth would like to commission the planning services for the further construction of the station underpass to Industriestraße in the south of the station. It is planned to continue the pedestrian underpass under the railway tracks with an exit on the industrial road on urban land. The length of the underpass will be about 100 m, the width is about 6 m. The subject of the VgV process are the tunnel construction (object planning civil engineering structures), the pipeline construction (object planning civil engineering structures) and the truss planning. The execution takes place in one train. The construction costs (KG 300+400) are provisionally estimated at EUR 14 million. The funding of the measure according to FAG Bund, BayFAG and GVFG has already been coordinated with the sponsors and promised. A detailed description could be found in the procurement documents.
