Description

For the Care programme, an offer pathway is carried out to acquire a research group carrying out a systematic review of:
• the risk factor smoking in the persistence of a human papillomavirus infection (HPV infection), the development and aggravation of cervical neck abnormality cervical intra-epithelial neoplasia (CIN), and the development of cervix carcinoma;
• whether there is a dose-effect relationship between the quantity of smoked cigarettes and the above mentioned anomalies;
• the effectiveness of smoking cessation in terms of normalising the risk in the case of the above deviations, and after how long the risk has been normalised.
The results of the research will be used in the ‘cervical abnormalities’ deepening phase of the programme.
