8816 QS Large Civil Engineering Works - Lots 4-6 (Design and Build Requirements)
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) currently have a multi-party Qualification System (QS) for large Civil Engineering Works associated with the upgrading of the railway infrastructure or Rosslare Europort and other related works that Iarnród Éireann may undertake directly or on behalf of Bus Eireann, Dublin Bus or CIE on their properties. This Qualification System currently has three lots: Lot 1 – Civil Works €5m to €10m, Lot 2 – Civil Works €10m to €20m, and Lot 3 - Civil Works €20m to €50m. This Qualification System is currently available here: https://www.etenders.gov.ie/epps/dps/prepareViewCfTDPSWS.do?resourceId=3407229. IÉ intend to establish 3 additional lots under the above Qualification System (QS) relating to Design and Build (D and B) requirements. It is intended that these requirements will be used to undertake various works in conjunction with large capital projects, such as DART+, Cork Area Commuter Rail (CACR), East Coast Railway Infrastructure Protection Projects (ECRIPP), etc. The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. All project works shall be tendered to those companies, depending on the selected lot, approved for inclusion on this Qualification System under the chosen lot. Companies may apply for one or multiple lots and can apply for inclusion at any stage of the Qualification System’s duration. The lots available for application are as follows: Lot 4: Design and Build Requirements for Large Civil Engineering Works (€5m to €10m). Lot 5: Design and Build Requirements for Large Civil Engineering Works (€10m to €20m). Lot 6: Design and Build Requirements for Large Civil Engineering Works (€20m to €50m). Additional requirements relating to Design and Build (D and B) will fall under the following scope: Ancillary civils design to for all civils related works and minor building works as required, Ancillary civils design to support utility diversions (if required by utility owners), Ancillary civils design for construction compounds, Highways design for compound accesses, Highways and geotechnical design, Ancillary civils design for site clearance works and compound establishment, Ancillary civils design for construction fibre backbone containment, Signaling and Telecom design for construction fibre backbone, Structural design for Road Bridge Reconstruction.
