Germany-Dresden: Sludge disposal services
The tendered service includes the continuous disposal of municipal sewage sludge from the Dresden-Kaditz sewage treatment plant. As a general rule, primary, surplus and swimming sludge and co-substrates are stabilised anaerobically and drained to 26-31 % TS (average 29 % TS). The quantities of waste taken into account are:
— 43 000 t OS/a of wasted sewage sludge,
— 4 300 t OS/a discharged sludge exceeding the limit values of the Sewage Sludge Ordinance and/or the Fertiliser Ordinance (mercury, cadmium most likely),
— 500 t/a calved sewage sludge in exceptional cases where it is technologically necessary.
