Description

1. The contract concerns: design, construction, delivery and assembly of the ‘Elastic centre Model’ as part of the task: “Planetarium – Silesian Science Park. Modernisation and extension of the Śląskie Planetrium in Chorzów”.
2. The existing plant, the Planetarium, will be upgraded and upgraded in such a way that it can pursue its educational objectives in an extended range. To this end, specialised equipment, dedicated to the Planetrium, in the fields of astronomy, meteorology and seismology, is being designed in the facility. One of the devices will be the ‘Model of the elastic centre’. A dedicated surface area is foreseen for the workstation. 35 m². There should be 4 models of elastic centres in which the propagation of the main waves spread across the different layers of the Earth can be presented:transverse, longitudinal, as well as the Rayleigh and Love waves.
