Description

At the Hydrogen Lab Bremerhaven (HLB) site, Fraunhofer IWES currently operates two electrolysers with a total output of 2.3 MW. In addition to the electrolyser test field in Bremerhaven, Fraunhofer IWES operates another Hydrogen Lab in Leuna, the Hydrogen Lab Leuna (HLL), where electrolysers are also tested. To supply these sites with plants for the production of hydrogen by electrolysis, Fraunhofer needs a supply portfolio of electrical energy that meets the requirements of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1184 supplementing Directive (EU) 2018/2001 and the 37th Ordinance implementing the Federal Immission Control Act (37. BImSchV), which are the prerequisite for the certification of green hydrogen. The objective of this call for tenders is an electricity supply contract (lot 1) and a PPA contract (lot 2).
