Description

As part of the overall construction measure ‘Energetic optimisation of the Karsdorf wastewater treatment plant’, the EMSR technology will be expanded and newly installed. The new power distribution, consisting of medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and low-voltage main distribution, will be built in parallel to this measure. The power and control outputs as well as the associated automation technology are housed in plant-related, decentralized sub-distributions. In addition, the switchgear and control systems provided by other lots must be connected. All low-voltage installations are installed in protective conduits, cable ducts or on cable support systems. Light strip luminaires are mainly used to illuminate the rooms and functional areas. Outdoor lighting at entrances and along the access roads is provided by mast lights. Existing mast luminaires will be upgraded. Escape route lighting with single-battery emergency lights is installed to ensure safe exit from the sub-installations. Decentralised automation devices are used at the wastewater treatment plant. Uninterruptible supply of 24VDC automation and measurement technology is ensured by decentralized UPS systems that are connected in parallel to the power supply units. In the course of the new energy distribution, the emergency power generator will be upgraded to supply the low-voltage main distribution. Lightning protection systems are to be implemented for the buildings. The external lightning protection includes catching and draining devices on the building envelopes. The internal lightning protection includes, among other things, the lightning protection potential compensation. Lightning and surge protection are implemented in the feed-ins of the sub-distributions as well as in the relevant power and control outputs. According to the technological requirements of the equipment to be equipped, the required measuring technology is installed. If possible, all measurements are carried out via a 24VDC supply in order to avoid electrical hazards at the measuring points. Communication between CPU assemblies, operating devices, frequency converters and the switchgear and control systems provided by the equipment suppliers takes place via Profinet. The required components must be supplied, assembled ready for use, electrically connected and configured, parameterised and programmed in accordance with the requirements. The creation of the PLC software and the configuration of the operating devices are part of this measure. The control system, including the archiving and fault reporting system, will be expanded to include the new plant components. These additions are mainly made in the existing systems. In addition, an energy management system is integrated. The cross-building network connections are carried out by means of fiber optic cables. The existing intrusion detection centre will be expanded. Automatic and manual fire detectors are used as fire protection measures. The control function of the GMA is taken over by the automation technology used. The services to be provided for the overall construction project will be put out to tender in seven lots. This call for tenders for Lot 7 includes the EMSR technique. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
