Description

The objective is to procure and install a new back-up HF short communications system throughout the country. The material to be procured will constitute a backup communication system between the Unified Coordination Centre for Operations and Crisis Management (ESKEDIK) and the thirteen (13) Regional Operations Centres (PEKE), the four (4) Olympus Mobile Operational Centres (KEK) of the Fire Brigade and the Directorate of Informatics and Communications of the PS in the event of a "mega catastrophe event", when no other communication (conventional or satellite) will be possible, as well as the provision of training for the proper functioning of the system and related educational material (instructions for use and audiovisual material) in the Greek language. The training will take place in collaboration with the staff of the competent department of the Directorate of Informatics and Communications in Moschato, Attica. This will be done in the physical presence of the trainees and will be videotaped
