Germany-Hanover: Medium-voltage installation work
The production engineering institutes of the Leibniz University of Hannover and associated facilities such as the Institute for Integrated Production Hannover and the Hannover Laser Centre are planning to rebuild research at the Hannover – Garbsen site in order to develop economic production for large components or installations from, inter alia, aviation, shipping or wind energy.
The aim is to broaden the technological and economic process boundaries in large-scale manufacturing.
The new construction is approx. 9.200 m² BGF with dimensions of approx. 65 m (width) x approx. 75 m in length. It consists of a northern three-storey head structure (ground floor – 2. Upper floor), which houses the main entrance, office space and laboratories, and a large experimental hall area composed of three indoor ships. A large-scale office area is located in the 2.OG north-south direction of the building. The parts of the building are not subclad, with the exception of some lowered mine areas. The technical centres are located inside the building.
The new research will receive a uniform building envelope consisting of edged sheet metallic elements with a floor level, highly weather-resistant coating in metallic optics.
Exposure is carried out using window strips or PR façades, which are partially high in the windows.
