The municipality of Ihrlerstein is planning to renovate and expand an existing listed inn in the centre of the village into an inn with a hall, beer garden and village square as part of urban development funding. The new civic hall is to be rebuilt as an extension. It is intended to serve as a meeting point for the village community as well as a central location for events and thus to invigorate the town centre more. The listed building is intended to house a guest and adjoining room and guest apartments. On the property are areas for a beer garden with a bar, a village square as a multifunctional area including parking.
