Description

The design assignment that is the subject of this call for tenders relates to the partial renovation and renovation of the Botanical Garden of the University of Turku. The site of the Turku Botanical Garden is located at: Ruissalo puistotie 215, 20100 Turku. The building services and partly civil engineering parts of the Ruissalo Botanical Garden have reached the end of their life cycle and significant deficiencies have been noted in the condition assessment. In addition, efforts will be made to implement additional change needs. A more detailed identification of the project and its implementation can be found in the following annexes to this call for tenders: - Annex 1: ‘technical fitness assessment’ - Annex 2: ‘In addition to the fitness assessment, the design tasks included in the package’ - Annex 3: ‘Climate risk assessment’ - Annex 4: "Ruissalo Silmu" The project is designed using BIM. The accuracy level of BIM is ‘Level 1’ according to Part 3 of the General BIM Requirements 2012 (RT 10-11068). The working language of the project is Finnish and all plans are implemented in Finnish, unless otherwise stated in the planning instructions. To clarify the scope and content: Each design industry makes its own up-to-date drawings of the property. The transfer drawings are drawn up by the designer on the basis of the detailed drawing material provided by the contractor. The designer draws up a drawing-specific list of the handover material and checks that the handover drawings include all the electronic material drawn up for the project and must be handed over to the client. In addition to Pdf data, also DWG images marked as a final drawing, as well as IFC models and other models. Occupational safety must be taken into account in planning. Special conditions and their preservation during construction must also be taken into account in the design. Targeted project schedule: • Implementation planning 10/2025 - 03/2026 • Construction 5/2026 - 8/2027 The parties to the design phase to be selected following a call for tenders are: • Main and Architectural Designer • Structural Designer • LVIAJ Designer • Electrical Designer The client decides on the acquisition of any special expertise needed (e.g. acoustics). Content of the design mandate: The planning tasks include the planning content according to the project plan. The plans are drawn up in a data model. The design assignments follow the Kuivaketju10 operating model. Tasks ordered separately from the task lists must be included in the fixed total price.
