Description

Science open to the world gathers data and facts on the internationality of studies and research in Germany, prepares them graphically and makes them available to the interested (specialist) public. This is done in two formats: The main edition of science open to the world appears in two separate versions in German and English, usually in September or October of each year. The short edition ‘Science offen compakt’ (brochure) is usually published in March, and also in German and English in two separate versions. Both scientific publication formats appear open to the world both as print and online (PDF), but the main edition now only prints the German version and the English version is only digital. The online edition can be downloaded free of charge from the project website (www.wissenschaft-weltoffen.de) and from the publishing website. The call for tender is for the translation, sentence, layout, printing, publication and distribution of the publication ‘Science open to the world’ and the short edition ‘Science open to the world’. Details can be found in the tender specifications in Annex 02.
