Description

Through this contract, Topoloveni City, Arges County has the objective of stimulating the use of electric vehicles by creating the infrastructure to supply them with electricity. The development of charging infrastructure is a useful tool for cities to increase the number of electric vehicles driven by citizens and commercial fleets. Topoloveni's decision to support the orientation towards electric vehicles has been carefully analyzed to ensure that all aspects of the implementation are integrated and sustainable, in the coming years, all major manufacturers will offer Electric Vehicles and Plug-In Electric Vehicles on the market. Unlike other gradual changes for vehicles and their operation, this is a step that will forever affect urban environments. The benefits of reducing noise and air pollution will make the city a better place to live, work or play. In order to fully benefit from these benefits, however, the city needs to ensure the effective integration of urban policies, planning regulations, fuel infrastructure, now investment in infrastructure will be a success if vehicles are available, and consumers will purchase vehicles only if the necessary infrastructure is available. The city wants to take the first step through the initial stage in the discussion, by providing recharging stations for electric vehicles.
