Business Object est un logiciel d'informatique décisionnel. Il permet de construire des requêtes, des rapports d'analyse à partir de données issues des applications des domaines suivants: ressources humaines, finances, solidarité, bâtiments, développement urbain, développement responsable… Toutes les directions de la Métropole utilisent cet outil quotidiennement afin d'avoir à disposition leurs tableaux de bord permettant de faire du contrôle et du pilotage de leurs politiques publiques. À ce jour, près de 1 000 agents utilisent cet outil décisionnel. Il s'agit d'un achat récurrent.
