Description

This year's screening program includes two different sub-projects:
1. Screening for phosphites, other selected PBT substances, and non-target environmental screening.
2. Screening for the sea-lice agents Trident Vet (azamethiphos) and Betamax Vet (cypermethrin).
Tenderers may submit tenders for one or both projects. Please note that the announcement also includes two options.
The purpose of Project 1 is to examine phosphites and other selected PBT substances in the Norwegian environment. We need knowledge about these substances discharged into the environment and whether on levels in the environment suggest that these drugs are already problematic, or whether their current use could lead to an environmental problem in the future. Furthermore, the purpose of the Project 1 is to identify and quantify possible unknown and potentially new pollutants with non-target environmental screening.
The purpose of Project 2 is to examine the incidence of the sea-lice agents, Salmosan and Cypermethrin, used in aquaculture, the Norwegian environment. We need knowledge about these substances discharged into the environment and whether on levels in the environment suggest that these drugs are already problematic, or whether their current use could lead to an environmental problem in the future.
