Description

Kankaanpään Asunnonhankinta Oy will request offers for cable TV and broadband services as of 1 October 2026. Kankaanpään Asunnonhankinta Oy has 522 rental apartments in 20 properties in the Kankaanpää area. This acquisition concerns cable TV and broadband services for all sites managed by the company. The service is delivered primarily via an optical fibre connection installed by the North Satakunta regional network to the housing company's housing cooperative and from there via the housing company's own internal network to the apartments. The interface of the service is the housing company's building division, and the service provider is responsible for the functionality of the service until then. The housing company is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the fixed indoor network it owns in the transmission of the service. The monthly fee for cable television must include more than 15 free basic channels, including national free-to-air TV channels in Finland as HD broadcasts. The tenant may also purchase pay-TV packages from the pay-TV package selection with his or her own agreement. The tenant is responsible for purchasing the necessary decoder. The monthly fee for the broadband service must include the same cable TV service.
