Description

Currently, the Essen system house operates a WLAN infrastructure of about 1700 Extreme Access on the fernao-magellan own platform in the own RZ of the magellan. The service and support licensing of the devices expires on 01.08.2025 and the use would then no longer be possible for all devices. Currently, all Extreme Devices are replaced with Juniper network hardware and for the transition period of 12 for 850 units and 24 months for 850 units, these devices must be relicensed accordingly so that the functionalities, the operation in the fernao-magellan RZ, as well as the service and support can be continued.
