Wiederitzsch, construction stage 1: The aim of the complex measure is to maintain the permanent availability of the EÜ Wiederitzscher Viadukt, the EÜ Viaduktweg and the EÜ Delitzscher Landstraße. The renewal of these civil engineering structures and the ordered target track plan with an increase in the useful length of the tracks to 750 m necessitates the track plan changes in the Bf Wiederitzsch to achieve a station infrastructure that meets the requirements of effective rail freight traffic (SGV) for the northern Leipzig freight ring.
