This document is not a prior information notice, a contract notice or a call for tenders, but a notice of a market dialogue for an information/market dialogue taking place on 27 November 2019 from 12:00 to 15:00. The remote control system in Northern Finland is in need of technical reform as regards its life cycle. The same steering system is also used in part of the control areas of the Tampere Steering Centre. According to the preliminary plans, the contracting entity will put out to tender the reconstruction of the remote control system in Northern Finland in the coming years. The new remote control system is intended to enable site-independent and dynamic steering, more efficient management of work, and wider use of automation in the rail traffic control area of Northern Finland. The steering system is intended to be connected to interlocking, remote control and information systems and shall have an interface with other rail traffic control systems.
