Description

The procurement includes Piteå Municipality’s main need for a complete and functional decision support system, software/system and service, for the extraction and presentation of information from the municipality’s data sources.
The requested decision support is planned to be part of the IT support for the governance and management process. The IT support provided by the governance and organisation process also consists of the Stratsys target management system. Stratsys manages the entire municipal organisation’s planning and follow-up of plans, programmes and key performance indicators. Piteå Municipality’s focus is that Stratsys should be the main entry point for IT support for the governance and management process. Decision support is to be reached mainly from Stratsys and compatibility with the Stratsys environment is of utmost importance.
In addition to integration with Stratsys, it is initially planned for the implementation of automatic decision support reports from human resources and financial systems, as well as from the school and social services management systems. During the contract period, Piteå Municipality intends to implement up to 20 data sources in the decision support itself and/or with the help of consultancy services.
