The subject of this works contract is the development of the surroundings of a new complex for the works department of the City of Lessines. It is the second part of the project. The construction of the building was the subject of a separate public contract for budgetary reasons. Work on the first part of the project started on 15 June 2023. In order to comply with the legislation on public procurement, the contracting authority will publish this contract at European level as the total amount of the two parts of the project (construction of the building and development of the surroundings) is above the European thresholds. The contracting authority nevertheless draws the tendererā€™s attention to the fact that it may have to cohabit with another tenderer at the beginning of this project. If this is the case, it is the task of the successful tenderer for the first project (construction of the building) to integrate the work schedule for the second project (development of the surroundings) and to ensure the coactivity of the two contracts.
