D-Stade: engineering services
This consists of the new construction of the Hadelner Canal lock, a drainage and navigation lock, replacing the 1853 construction and the connecting ponds in the north and south until the existing main dyke.
As part of the reinforcement of the Elbdeiche, the height of the dyke crown in the Hadelner Canal lock area is to be increased from NN + 7.7 m to NN + 8.7 m. The old structure cannot withstand a further increase, so that a new lock with a sufficiently dimensioned new lock is foreseen. The construction of the lock is planned with a chamber length of 55 m. The production costs of the project were assumed at around EUR 19000000 net. Of this, approximately EUR 12000000 is allocated to the lock with steel water construction, operating facilities and waiting facilities, approximately EUR 1000000 to the technical equipment of the lock, EUR 500000 to the bridge civil engineering plant and approximately EUR 5500000 to the Deich defense Route civil engineering plant. The engineering services necessary for the realisation of the project will be awarded to a master planner.
The following services will be awarded:
— Services relating to civil engineering works in accordance with Part 3, Section 3 of the HOAI,
— Structural design services in accordance with Section 1 of Part 4 of the HOAI, and
— Technical fitting-out services in accordance with Section 2 of Part 4 of the HOAI.
